Many other societies, who are members, receive our QUARTERLY. QUERIES from members
only, are published in the QUARTERLY free of charge. There is no limit as to
the number of queries which a member may submit. BOOK REVIEWS are published
when a copy of the book has been received by the Society. After review, these
books are donated to the Genealogical and Historical Room, Washington Memorial
Library, Macon, Georgia, whose holdings are one of the largest in the SouthEast.
Members are encouraged to submit ARTICLES FOR PUBLICATION in the QUARTERLY,
and extra long articles may be serialized. The QUARTERLY is not copyrighted
and anyone is welcome to make proper use of the contents; however, the use of
articles quoted from other published sources is prohibited without permission
from the copyright holder. Appropriate credit will be appreciated. The QUARTERLY
is not sold by subscription. Current and back issues may be purchased from the
Society when available. The Society welcomes the opportunity to publish FAMILY
PEDIGREE CHARTS for members. Minimum coverage of four generations is required.
Our computer design charts provide for as much information on the fifth generation
as the second, third and fourth - most charts provide much less. Give us as
much complete information as possible on available forms and separate paper.
MEETINGS:
The Society holds regular monthly meetings with planned programs. These meetings
are currently held at the Flint Electric Building, 900 Highway 96, Warner
Robins, Georgia at 7pm on the second Monday of each month. In addition to the
program, time permitting, a question and answer session is usually conducted
for the benefit of members who have a problem with their research, or who have
found a better way for accomplishing their work. Visitors and guests are always
welcome to attend regular meeting of the Society. Our current membership covers
many states and we invite you to join our Society. For a membership application,
write to the Corresponding Secretary at the address shown in the heading above
or call (478) 953-3114. You may also create a membership
application online to mail to the Society.
